The clinic is another example of Miles and Nickerson’s commitment to eliminating obstacles to success and prosperity.

Vice Mayor Monaé Nickerson asked why those concerned about traffic have not attended Prince William County Board of Supervisors meetings having to do with highway improvements in the county. “Why was no one else concerned about what has happened in Dumfries until now,” she said. “Where was this energy when we needed money for Route 1 funding?” 

 "...the purpose of this action is to proactively build better relationships between law enforcement and our community by reviewing our current use of force policies and reforming them as needed. We want our police procedures to encourage de-escalation as a primary course of action to prevent any use of force, and lastly, but equally important, we want to build our community relations so our department and community can work together ....”. This action is the beginning of a process of building police reform towards ending unnecessary fatalities at the hands of police due to excessive force and combating a systemic culture of aggression and use of force.” ~ Vice Mayor Nickerson
