PRIORITIES

Safe, connected neighborhoods are essential to a thriving community. I will continue advocating for investments in sidewalks, transportation improvements, traffic safety, and infrastructure that protects residents while supporting responsible growth throughout Dumfries.

 Growth should benefit the entire community, not outpace it or diminish residents’ quality of life. I support thoughtful development that strengthens our commercial tax base, attracts quality businesses, protects our neighborhoods, and ensures roads, sidewalks, public safety resources, and other infrastructure keep pace with growth. 

Dumfries’ greatest strength is its people. We are a diverse and resilient community where longtime residents and newer families share a genuine investment in our town’s future.  Strong communities begin with engaged residents. Through initiatives like Let's Talk Dumfries, I remain committed to listening to residents, addressing neighborhood concerns, and ensuring every part of our town has a voice in local government.

Residents deserve a government that is open, accessible, and accountable. I will continue promoting transparency by improving communication, expanding access to information, and ensuring residents understand how decisions are made.

A strong local economy creates opportunities for everyone. I will continue supporting small businesses, attracting investment, and encouraging economic development that expands our commercial tax base while strengthening the long-term financial health of our town.

Government works best when residents are involved. I am committed to creating meaningful opportunities for residents to share ideas, ask questions, and participate in shaping the future of Dumfries through open dialogue and community partnerships. I will continue expanding Let's Talk Dumfries because the best decisions happen when residents are heard.
